Who are we?

As the initiators of iklaadaccuraat.nl, we are active in the fields of mobility, transportation, and safety. We have observed that more and more people are using e-bikes and e-scooters and charging them at home. While this development offers many benefits, it also comes with certain risks — which is why we have joined forces.

Through iklaadaccuraat.nl, our goal is to inform and encourage as many people as possible to charge their e-bike or e-scooter batteries safely. The tips on this website are simple, practical, and designed to increase awareness of potential risks.

Iklaadaccuraat is an initiative of:

RAI Association

RAI stands for Rijwiel en Automobiel Industrie (Bicycle and Automobile Industry). The association was founded on 17 December 1893 and represents the interests of more than 700 manufacturers and importers of passenger cars, trucks, trailers, semi-trailers, bodywork and special vehicles, motorcycles and scooters, mopeds, and bicycles. Suppliers of parts and garage equipment are also affiliated with the RAI Association.

BOVAG

BOVAG is a trade association representing more than 8,000 entrepreneurs active in the mobility sector. It also serves as a quality label for consumers. BOVAG members ensure that their customers can enjoy worry-free mobility — in all its forms, from bicycles to caravans, and from cars to scooters. For consumers, BOVAG is a well-known and widely trusted quality mark. Companies wishing to join must meet strict quality requirements.

Veiligheidsregio Noord- en Oost-Gelderland & Veiligheidsregio Brabant-Zuidoost

Veiligheidsregio Noord- en Oost-Gelderland & Veiligheidsregio Brabant-Zuidoost are co-initiators of iklaadaccuraat.nl. These regional safety organizations are committed to building a safe and healthy society. On behalf of many municipalities, they carry out statutory duties related to fire services, emergency response, and crisis management — as well as prevention and the reduction of damage and risks.
